I love this song. So much. I keep seeing different movies in my head for it....I need to draw them.
I went to a dance. Amazing music. Better lights. I'm writing choppy. That's how I'm thinking/feeling right now. Eaven, thanks for coming. You totally made my night. And I loved showing you my picture. It was so awesome. As soon as I can find my computer cord (and figure out how to put pictures on here), then I'll show it on my blog. It's amazing. Absolutely, completely so.
You can see that his broken soul is bleeding
So you conceal your feelings and wander through my heart
Letting you see through me now only consumes me
Forget your pain and watch me fall apart
That's how I feel sometimes. I feel so out of control, so angry and wrathful, like I want to hurt someone, but I know I can't, because that would be bad. I don't want to be bad. I want to be the good girl that is strong enough to protect someone. Then I fall apart, and I think 'how can I help someone when I can't even figure myself out?' Then Eaven calls, or Spaceman texts, or Athenia chats, and I forget that inside I hurt, and you wander through my heart, stitching up the torn, bleeding soul. I forget the dreams where my mother dies, and I become so afraid because I alwasy follow, until the one dream where you save me, Athenia. I forget the dreams where I get shot five times in the back, where in my dream I feel pain so real. So...thanks....
I'm tired. I have a talk that I still have to write for tomorrow. I'm freaking out about it, but Eaven's talked me through most of it, so I hope it won't be too bad. Meep.
Good night. Sleep tight. Let your dreams be sweet tonight.

Live Every Second
So Eaven introduced me to the musical Jekyll and Hyde, and I LOVE it! School is easier (except for chem), and I really like at least most of my classes. I've been having a lot of friends at school. Now to integrate myself into the ward...........
So I have decided that I am going to take a notebook and write a bunch of short stories. I am also going to (ahem, hopefully) finish "Happy Medium" and "Twisted Stems". I love reading your stories, Eaven!! Kane, do you write?
Since no one leaves comments (glare) I have decided that everyone who reads should ask me something that they would like me to talk about in the next blog. I will answer questions, rant about ideas/various topics, all if you guys tell me what you want to know. Because I really don't know what to talk about most of the time.

If I Apologised
This is a short story I wrote in the YWWP (Young Women Writers Program). I was one of twelve students from all of Kentucky to get in, and had a WONDERFUL time! The prompt for this piece was "The letter said the package would arrive on Monday." And this is what I came up with. Sequels are currently being written.
The letter said the package would arrive on Monday. But she wasn’t there to receive it. She had gone walking that day, alone in the foggy park. It was the perfect place to practice her abilities, open and welcoming, plenty of sparse, grown trees to hide her if eyes became too curious. It was there that she was stolen, and it was there that she was found.
The package had been a book and a charm she had ordered from the Shelf, a collection of unusual items. On the day she was stolen, the package was stolen as well.
At first she felt welcomed in the park, the air and the water sending out its usual heartfelt greeting. Soon, though, the trees and the earth began to warn her. Of course, it was too late by then; her Stealer had found her.
The grass tried to help her as she was being stolen, tried to grow on her Stealer, but all it succeeded in doing was making the Stealer drop the package. The ground quickly sucked it up. Then she was gone.
She was gone for three days. In those three days the earth, the grass, the trees, the air, and the water learned her secrets. Questions they had never had were answered – exactly how she and no one else could speak to them, the elements. How she carried the missing element, fire, in her pocket, like a pet. They came to hate her – they had thought she was their friend, someone they could trust. But she had kept secrets from them. They were glad she was gone.
In three days she returned. They planned what to do with her, how she was to be punished for her deception. But when they found her, bleeding on the grass, they could not hate her. The trees cradled her in their limbs as water ran down the bark like tears, slowly forming into tiny leaflets. Her name was Willow, and they wept for her.

Dancing Through Life
Okay, this is not the story I promised, but I've been too lazy to type it up. So, because I really have nothing else to say, I shall post a poem I wrote. Sorry Staple Ninja and Book Hippo if you've read it. I'll try to get some new stuff to post. Until then........Read on!
ETERNITY’S WALTZ
The dress
Swishes and sways
Reflecting the stars
Curling around hidden wrinkles
To wrap around creases
And shield the spirit within
Moving shadows
Change from moment to moment
In a blur of motion
That seems to take so long
But is only a short while
Short as a knot in the rope
In the sea of memory
The princess dances
And laughs
And weeps
And screams
And looks silently on
All at the same time
Moving in motion
With the partner in front of her
Not remembering the dance before
Enjoying this dance
But still looking forward
To the next waltz of eternity.

Desert Rose
Alrighty! I am back....ish........*sigh*. I am really tired right now, and I haven't even gone back to school yet. Speaking of which, it took four hours to register. NOT my idea of fun. Here is my schedule:
Purple Day
1. Release Time Seminary - Griffith
2. Chorus - DeGraffenreidt (they just call him Mr. D, thank goodness ^.^)
3. Chemistry - Burton
4. Chinese 1 - Palfreyman
White Day
5. AP English - Smith (by the way, this is a senior-only class. Meep!)
6. Journalism 1 - Bryant
7. CP U.S. History - Medley (this is really APUSH, but the teacher wasn't AP certified or something)
8. Peer Tutor - Ford
So I totally forgot what else I was going to say in this post. Coming Soon: A new story written by the one and only Soren! Or, at least, the beginning of it. Eaven read it and liked it. I hope everyone else does. Until then, wish me luck. ^_^

The Highwayman
In honor of Nin, whom I will miss so very much.
And if the tears never seem to dry
Let them fall
Let them run down your cheeks
Down the crevices of your face
Let them flood down your soul
Cleansing in its wake
Let them be your melody
To the accompaniment of screams
Of curses
To the gray sky
Crying with you.
But remember to breathe
Remember what it is like with the sun
That light of warmth
The bane of my existence
Remember this and laugh
And then the tears will dry
And then your heart will stitch together
And come back
Come back to the body it has missed
Since before the tears
Before the advent
Before the smile
Remember me
Don’t ever forget
And move laughingly on
To that wide horizon
As I walk to that single point
To meet you.
This is not the end
This is merely the beginning of the next book.
I wrote this for you. Erm, I hope it's okay.
Come visit me soon.

Hello
Two people have died in two days. The first was a guy at West that had MRSA, who died the day before yesterday. The second happened just yesterday. The mother of someone on my bus, someone that lives down the street from me got run over by their moving van while her kids watched. I should be sad, maybe a little scared, but I'm not really. It just makes me think a lot about what my death is going to be like, what I want it to be like. I'm not quite sure yet. Maybe that's a good thing.
I got a 100% on my chemistry test.
Chemistry reminds me of when we got the news that one of the teachers died of cancer. That was this year. Maybe last month? I don't know. There's been a lot of death lately.
It makes me think.
